Choreography Reel ‘22
Director & Choreographer
While choreography had always been a part of my life, it wasn't until about 2003 that I was bitten by the directing bug when I was asked to fill in for a director who had dropped out at the last minute of a production of My Way at Cape Fear Regional Theatre. Still in the midst of a performance career, the chance to direct again didn't present itself until many years later when I found myself in San Francisco, CA, looking to foster a community and nurture a passion project. Thus, Broadway Bares SF/SF Strips was born where I served as Director/Co-Choreographer for the first three installments, and beyond. I’ve since directed and/or choreographed numerous projects nationwide including the musicals: Legally Blonde, A Chorus Line, Pageant the Musical, Damn Yankees, Shrek, Roar of the Greasepaint, Smell of the Crowd, Pippin, Fugitive Songs, Beast Mode Champion, Assassins, and 42nd Street.
As a creative artist, first and foremost I am ever fascinated by the ways that dance and movement can intermingle in new and exciting ways within theatre pieces. I remain grateful for opportunities to work with artists willing to explore this and will continue to seek out places where I can see such a vision to fruition.
