After spending years as an adjunct and freelance Master Class instructor, in 2018 Deb was offered a position at Elon University in North Carolina-home to one of the top ten music theatre programs in the country. ​Last Spring, after earning her MFA from the Peck School of the Arts at UWM, she was given the title of Assistant Professor of Music Theatre. After four transformative years at Elon, where her responsibilities were varied and wide from new student recruitment to committee membership, as well as numerous other services to the University, she is now in a Temporary Lecturer position at University of Nevada Reno (UNR.)
